Filters

Pre-configure filters that are applied automatically when users open the activity feed.

Default Filters

Set the default state of the feed for all users under Settings → Filters → Defaults.

Date Range

Choose a default window: Last 24h, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or a custom range.

Event Types

Limit the default view to specific event categories:

• Issue Events — create, update, delete, transition
• Comment Events — add, edit, delete
• Permission Events — role changes, permission scheme updates
• User Events — login, logout, profile changes

Saved Filters

Users with Audit Viewer permissions can save custom filter presets. Admins can promote a saved filter to the global default.

Exclusions

Exclude certain users or bots from the feed entirely. Useful for filtering out CI/CD service accounts that generate high-volume noise.

Go to Settings → Filters → Exclusions and add user accounts or group names to the exclusion list.
