Installation & Access
Prerequisite: install User Activity Audit Log
Pulse AI is accessed through User Activity Audit Log, so the base app must first be installed from the Atlassian Marketplace.
- Go to Jira Cloud administration and open Explore apps.
- Search for User Activity Audit Log.
- Select the app and start the installation or trial.
- After installation, open Jira and navigate to Apps to access User Activity Audit Log.
Standard product documentation describes the app as available from the Atlassian Marketplace and managed through the usual Jira Cloud app flow.
Important: Pulse AI depends on the broader User Activity Audit Log app. It is not a standalone Marketplace app and should be understood as a feature or advanced capability inside the product.
Access model
Who can access: Site admins and Org admins can access the app. User access can then be controlled through the app’s Permissions settings.
Pulse AI availability
Pulse AI is associated with an advanced mode / advanced capability.
Practical expectation: If you do not see Pulse AI options, check three things first: your app version, your permissions in User Activity Audit Log, and whether the relevant advanced or AI capability has been enabled for your environment.
